yep, 1 of the best rock, metal, hard rock songs ever!

When this band first came out I love them then and I love them now this band knows how to kick ass and it is the first African-American metal band considering that this band was the first group to open up for the Rolling Stones when they came out on stage they were greedy with boos but they still continued on and persevered and that just goes to show you there is no color lines in music and this group is badass plain and simple😊

July 10th, 1988: Listening to 120 minutes on MTv. Cult of Personality comes on and a black kid finds his people. Went back to college and was playing LC in my dorm and this other black kid walks into my room, and we're still friends to this day. Jan 24th, 1989: Drove a couple hours to 9:30 club to see them live.

This band belongs on the Tower of greatest New Metal Bands. Had this conversation with LSPOON2 of Seven Dust. Corey and the band influenced listeners like me and artists like Tool, Korn, etc. to break through and get in touch with their listener. Powerful song that needs an audience to process and learn from it. Don't ask why...just listen to it and talk to your professor or History teacher what it means.

As tragic and sad as this song is, it also captures a strange sense of morbid and radical acceptance of one’s fate. I might even argue that it celebrates the jumper and his coworker for taking their inevitable death into their own hands in a proactive way rather than staying to burn in the tower.
